Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ZetaPrep website and services. ZetaPrep is mainly intended for residents of Nepal, and most services and payments are processed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Accounts

To use many of our features, you must register for an account with a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for your account credentials and any activity under your account. For paid features, you must also provide a valid Nepali phone number to be eligible for local billing and payment verification; users without a Nepali phone number may still use non-paid features where available.

Auth & Login

You can sign up using either a form (email & password) or via Google OAuth. Form-based sign-ups require email address and a password and typically use an email verification OTP for confirmation. Passwords are transmitted securely over HTTPS and are stored as salted hashes on our backend; we never persist plaintext passwords.

Google OAuth sends a credential (ID token) to our backend which we validate and exchange for our server-issued access and refresh tokens. Tokens authenticate API requests and are stored on the client as cookies by our TokenManager; access tokens are short-lived and refresh tokens are used to request a new access token when necessary. If tokens cannot be refreshed, we may log the user out and require them to reauthenticate.

Tokens and session identifiers are connected to your account and are required to access your account data. You must not share tokens, session identifiers, or your account credentials with anyone. Sharing credentials or tokens is a violation of these Terms and may subject your account to suspension, freezing, or permanent deactivation.

Payments & Subscriptions

Payments and subscriptions are processed in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) using local payment providers. To purchase paid courses or subscriptions, you must provide a valid Nepali phone number and comply with any local billing requirements. International payments (non-NPR) and international billing are not supported; if you do not have a Nepali phone number you may still be able to use certain non-paid features, but paid services will not be available to you.

By paying for a subscription or course, you agree to the applicable payment terms; charges are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in the plan or refund policy. Billing disputes and refund requests should be reported to support promptly, and we will process them in accordance with our billing and refund procedures.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, to attack or manipulate our systems, or to attempt to copy or redistribute our content outside permitted use. Abusive behavior towards instructors, staff, or other users is not allowed and may lead to termination.

Intellectual Property

All content on the site is owned by ZetaPrep or our licensors. By using the service you are granted a limited personal, non-transferable license to access content for personal study only.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZetaPrep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. While we aim for accuracy, the service is provided "AS IS" and we make no guarantees about exam outcomes or specific results.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms or for security reasons. Termination may result in loss of access to content or data; please contact support for data access requests.

Account Sharing & Suspension

ZetaPrep accounts are intended for use by a single account holder. Account sharing whether by sharing login credentials, tokens, or by allowing others to use your authenticated session is prohibited. If our systems detect concurrent usage patterns or other evidence that indicates sharing or misuse, we reserve the right to suspend or freeze the account while we investigate.

If an account is suspended, we will notify the registered email address and provide instructions for appeal. Users may contact support at [email protected] to request a review. For serious or repeated violations, we may permanently deactivate the account.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal and disputes will be resolved under Nepalese jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory local laws where the user resides. If you have questions or need to raise a dispute, contact [email protected].

Changes

We may modify these Terms at our discretion; major changes will be notified to users. By continuing to use the service after changes are posted, you accept the revised terms.
